🤖 AI in Music Production – Discover how to use AI tools to generate melodies, beats, and vocal and sound design 
Come join us at E-Q Studios  for this 2-Day Creative Career Lab is an immersive music technology and professional studio intensive for serious students who are ready to level up their skills. Participants will learn advanced songwriting, music production, arrangement and vocal recording while collaborating with peers to create a full original record from scratch. 
In addition to the creative side, students will also learn how the business side of the industry actually works. We will explore behind-the-scenes careers such as A&R, publishing, sync licensing, management, marketing, engineering, tech innovation, and the pathway from student creator to paid professional. 
This lab also includes the strategic use of AI tools for music production, idea development, songwriting, mixing and workflow. Students will explore how AI is reshaping the industry and how to use AI as a tool instead of a threat. This will include conversations on copyright, ownership, creative ethics and opportunities that emerging artists must understand for the future. 
Students will work directly with real industry coaches, engineers, songwriters, producers and business professionals.

  • Meet GRAMMY-affiliated producers & artists
  • Overview of the professional recording studio
  • Student introductions: Share your music and goals

🔹 9:30 AM – 10:30 AM | Music Production & Beat-Making
  • Advanced beat-making techniques using Pro Tools, Logic Pro, or Ableton Live and other Digital Audio Workstations {DAW}
  • Sound design & layering for professional-quality production
  • Hands-on session: Enhance your own beats

🔹 10:30 AM – 11:15 AM | AI in Music Production
  • How AI is changing music creation and production
  • Hands-on demo: AI-generated beats, melodies, and vocal effects
  • How to integrate AI into your workflow to enhance creativity

🔹 11:15 AM – 12:00 PM | Songwriting & Composition
  • Structuring lyrics, melodies, and hooks like the pros
  • How to create memorable, industry-ready songs
  • Interactive workshop: Apply techniques to your own music

🔹 12:00 PM – 12:30 PM | Lunch & Industry Talk
  • Casual Q&A with producers & artists about careers in music

🔹 12:30 PM – 1:30 PM | Sound Engineering & Mixing
  • Mixing & mastering fundamentals for a polished, professional sound
  • Vocal processing and effects for better clarity and depth
  • Hands-on adjustments to your own track

  • Each student presents a song or beat for professional critique
  • Personalized feedback from industry professionals
  • Final tips for leveling up your music

BeatKnocks Academy 

Designed to give students an overview of music production, music engineering, and songwriting. In music production class, students will learn how to create an EDM, Dubstep, or Pop song from start to finish. In music engineering, students will learn how to mix, master, record, and sample music. Classes are taught by industry professionals with strong ties to the Entertainment Industry. All music must meet our Music Code of Conduct (keeping music Clean, Positive, and Professional). At the end of the week, students will have a complete song that will be available to be ready for streaming on all major platforms.

Students who successfully complete the week will receive a Certificate of Completion. All classes are taught by Grammy Associated producers and engineers with guess industry professional stopping in to speak to the students.
