​Workshop Facilitator 

 Chris "Alpha Knocks" Woods is a music producer and audio engineer raised in Detroit, MI., currently residing in Atlanta, GA. He holds a Bachelors of Arts degree in Audio Production with over 20 years in engineering. Founder of indie record label Living Soul Music and Co-founder Artportunity Knocks a non-profit arts organization in Atlanta, GA. impacting well over 100,000 students. He has worked with several artists and music producers both nationally and internationally doing live engineering and production, including: Mary Mary, Canton Jones, Da Truth, Joann Rosario, Lecrae, Shonlock, V. Rose, Uncle Reece, J'Eon and more.

Charity Lewis, professionally known as Charity Work AKA Charity Evaughn, is a Music Producer/DJ from Houston, TX. Charity has worked with amazing talent such as Chi the Prynce, Big KRIT, Paul Wall, Killa Kyleon, Jack Harlow and more. She is the co-founder of GOD LVL and is currently producing their first artist Dante Higgins.

Michael "Snotty" Miller is recording, mixing, live sound, engineer, producer and audio instructor born and raised in South Bend, Indiana. He is a graduate from both Indiana Institute of Technology & Full Sail University with multiple GRAMMY Nominations his credits include: The Dream, Ludacris, Nicki Minaj, Brandy, David Banner, Lecrae, Paul Wall, Young Jeezy, Jay-Z and countless others all over the world!​

Ruben L. Royster - Speaker
Music, Film & Broadcasting

Ruben Royster an industry professional spanning 15+ years with a B.A. in Music Technology. Skilled in music production, audio engineering, and video production. Ruben is sought after for consultation and performance on projects in the television and the entertainment industry. Current  he is bassist for R&B artists: Monica and Tamar Braxton , as well as Atlanta’s own Gritz and Jelly Butter.  Also the former Musical Director for Glenn Jones.

Music technology is the study or the use of any device, mechanism, machine or tool by a musician or composer to make or perform music; to compose, notate, playback or record songs or pieces; or to analyze or edit music.

Conference - November 28, 2020 - 10:00am - 4:30pm (Online Virtually) Link to the conference will be sent to your email week of the event.
The conference mission goals will meet to exceed the 21st century learning skills and technologies that will position students to succeed in a world that is ever increasingly required collaboration, critical thinking, adaptability, grit and perseverance. This one day conference will focus on exposing students to careers surrounding music technology. Hosted by Co-Founder of Artportunity Knocks and Grammy Associated Music Producer & Audio Engineer Chris "Alpha Knocks" Woods. Sessions will be instructed by industry professionals in music, film and gaming who have credits within their field of study.
